Precise Installs (Strathclyde) Ltd are part of the Precise Installs Group Ltd, a dynamic company with experience in all aspects of the Plumbing, Heating & Renewables industry.
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator and an integral part of the Precise Installs brand and growth plan, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. Your role will involve budgeting and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. If you have a strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
– Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
– Finance reporting to Directors
– Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis
– Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
– Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions
– Prepare tender documents and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
– Evaluate and manage variations in project scope, cost, and schedule
– Prepare interim valuations and final accounts for clients
Qualifications:
– University qualification in Quantity Surveying/ Estimator/ Commercial Manager
– Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator/ Commercial Manager in the construction industry
– Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
– Proficient in using MS Office Suite and SimPro
– Excellent numerical and analytical skills
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Effective communication and negotiation skills
Skills:
Ability to manage costs throughout the project, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
