Precise Partner Programme

Stop chasing jobs. Start installing.

Stop chasing jobs.
Start installing.

Precise Installs Group is growing. And, alongside our in-house teams, we have a network of skilled, carefully selected partners who help us deliver installation work for our clients. Our partners get access to jobs that are lined up, with a clear scope, agreed timeline and a price that’s already set.

Working this way means Precise partners can focus on doing the work they do best, rather than chasing the next job.

Why trades choose to partner with us

Many skilled installers earn good money when they’re on the tools. However, running a trade business often means spending lots of time finding customers/clients, quoting jobs, chasing enquiries and worrying about getting paid. The Precise Partner Programme removes the hard work of sourcing, scoping and pricing jobs, as we’ve done it already. And our partners get paid on time, every time.

Projects offered to partners are already secured. The scope of work is clear, the schedule is defined, the installation phase is planned and the price is fixed. This allows our partners to focus on doing what they do best, rather than constantly worrying about where their next job will come from.

If access to well-planned projects without the hassle of chasing work sounds good to you, we’d love to hear from you.

Here’s what some of our partners think

CP Plumbing

Working with Precise has been a really positive experience for us. The projects are well organised and clearly scoped before they reach us, which means we can focus on doing the work rather than chasing jobs.

If a project fits our schedule, we take it on. And if we’re tied up, we say so. Once we commit to a job, we see it through to completion. The communication is good and the projects are managed professionally, which makes it a strong working relationship for our business. And we get paid on time.

Craig Patie – CP Plumbing & Heating – Owner/Director

Jet Floors

Working with Precise has been a really solid experience for us. The work we get is well organised and communication is always clear, which makes planning our schedule easy.

We’re a small team, and reliability is important to us. So, if we commit to a project, we make sure we deliver it properly. The relationship works well because expectations are clear on both sides and the projects are managed professionally. What’s more, we get paid on time, which makes life easier too.

Robbie McAlpine – Jet Floors – Owner / Director

Mclays

Our experience of working with Precise has been very good. The jobs they pass us are clearly defined, which helps us plan our workload. And the team is friendly and easy to deal with, which is a bonus.

As a small business, reliability matters to us. When we take on a job, we make sure it gets completed as agreed. On site, jobs are organised, instructions are clear and there’s a good level of flexibility if projects need little adjustments along the way. And we’re no longer wasting time chasing payment when a job’s complete.

David McKay – Mclays Refrigeration – Owner / Director

Consistent work without losing your independence

Many contractors who join our partner programme already run successful businesses. They’re not necessarily short of work, but they want a reliable source of work to run alongside their own customer/client projects.

Having pipeline consistency makes it easier for you to plan your finances, workloads, and manage teams while still taking on direct projects or higher-margin opportunities when they come along.

Partners remain fully independent and are free to continue working with their own customers/clients as well as accepting projects through the partner programme.

Strong earning potential with Precise Partner Programme
How it works with Precise Partner Programme

Strong earning potential

Projects we pass to our partners are priced using realistic installation estimates, which creates strong earning opportunities for efficient installers.

In many cases, something that might be priced at eighty hours could realistically be completed by an experienced team in significantly less time. For skilled installers who know their trade inside out, completing work efficiently can significantly increase the return they get from each project.

Your efficiency is where exceptional earning potential comes from.

If you’re ready to focus on the work you do best and enjoy most, instead of chasing the next job or late payments, you’re in the right place.

Might this work for you?

If this sounds like something that could work for you, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking to partner with professional trades across Scotland who run reliable, well-organised businesses and take pride in doing their job properly.

To date, some of our strongest partnerships have been with small, owner-operated companies where the person responsible for the business is still on the tools, and everyone in their team is committed to delivering quality installations.

Technical ability is essential, but professionalism matters just as much. Clear communication, reliability and delivering on your promises are vital. This is why we place so much importance on good communication and professionalism when selecting partners.

Here are answers to the questions we get asked most often

What is the Precise Partner Programme?

The Precise Partner Programme is a network of trusted trades who help deliver projects secured by Precise Installs Group. Once projects reach the installation phase, labour resources are allocated through the partner network so that approved partners can carry out the work.

What makes a good partner?

We only select partners who take pride in their work, appreciate the need to keep everyone around them informed of project progress, and operate professionally.

Our strongest partners are skilled installers who communicate clearly, turn up when they say they will and consistently deliver high-quality work. Reliability, good communication and professional standards help projects run smoothly and create great long-term working relationships. Ultimately, this potentially means more work for all of us.

People who struggle with reliability, communication or timekeeping usually find that the programme isn’t right for them.

When do partners get paid?
Partners invoice against the work order once work is completed, or in accordance with agreed interim payments depending on the project.
What does a typical partner project journey look like?

Precise Installs Group secures the contract and prepares the project scope before work is offered to partners. At that point, selected approved partners are contacted with the key details of the job.

You’ll receive the scope of works, the project timeline and the agreed fixed price for the installation. If the job suits your schedule, you simply let us know you can take it. If you can’t there’s no hard feelings.

Once the work order/start date is issued, installation begins.

You complete the agreed work within the project schedule and invoice against the work order when the work is finished, or in line with any agreed project milestones.

For many partners the process is as simple as reviewing the work order, confirming they can take the job, showing up, getting on with the installation then getting paid.

If this sounds like the kind of arrangement you’d like access to, we’d love to hear from you.

How does it works?

Once we’ve secured a project and the installation phase is planned, labour resources are allocated through our partner programme.

Approved, selected partners receive key details of the job, including the scope of works, the timeline and the fixed installation price. If the job suits your schedule, you simply let us know you can take it. If not, there’s no hard feelings.

Once the work order is issued, installation can begin on the agreed date.

When the work is completed, partners invoice against the work order according to the agreed project terms.

Because projects are organised before installation begins, the process is designed to be straightforward and efficient for partners.

Do I have to work exclusively with Precise Installs Group?
No. Partners are independent and completely free to work with other customers/clients. Many contractors simply use the partner programme to create a steady pipeline of work alongside their own projects.
What trades are you looking for?
We work with a range of trades involved in installation projects, including plumbing and heating engineers, bathroom installers, electrical contractors, joiners, renewables specialists, building services, designers and installers, air conditioning, ventilation and other related trades.
How much work will I receive?
The amount of work allocated to partners varies depending on factors such as location, availability and project requirements. Some partners work with us occasionally, while others may work with us regularly depending on our project pipeline requirements.
How are projects allocated?
When work is ready to begin, approved partners may be contacted with the details of the project. Details provided include the scope of work, timeline and fixed installation price. Partners then confirm whether they are available to carry out the work or not.
How are jobs priced?
Projects are issued to partners as fixed-price work orders with a defined scope and timeline, so expectations are clear from the beginning.
Do I have to supply materials?
This varies by project. In some cases, partners may supply certain materials, while in others, materials will be provided as part of the project. The scope of works will always clarify this before work begins.
How do I become an approved partner?

If you’re interested in joining the partner programme you should complete our Application Form which asks for relevant qualifications and examples of previous work so we can ensure the right fit for both sides.

Is there a trial period?

Often, the first project completed together acts as a natural trial, allowing both sides to see how the working relationship operates before progressing further.

What areas do you operate in?
Much of our work is currently focused on Scotland’s central belt, but opportunities do arise in other parts of Scotland. Having partners in other areas would potentially enable us to extend our reach. So, if you think this arrangement could work for you, please don’t hold back on applying because of your location.
What standards do partners need to maintain?
Full obligations will be explained during the onboarding process, but in general, partners are expected to keep their qualifications up to date, respect current health and safety guidelines, provide high-quality work, communicate clearly, work to agreed deadlines, deliver on their promises and operate professionally on site.
What happens if the partnership isn’t the right fit?
Not every partnership develops into a long-term relationship. Often the first project helps both sides determine whether the partnership works. If not, there is no obligation for either side to continue.

Ready to get involved?

If you take pride in your work and want access to a consistent pipeline of projects, we’d love to hear from you.
